    Some people in the South pronounce it “hhhhwhite”, although I’m not sure where exactly this is common. Most Americans say “white”. Hope this helps.

    Yes, they do make “calligraphy” felt tip pens. They have the canted chisel tip. They do not have the crispness of a steel pen, but they are great fun more informal work like addressing envelopes, etc.
